ADHD Sunday Reset Checklist

Most Sunday reset routines online take a whole afternoon and look beautiful. Ours has to work on the Sundays when we are tired too, so the tiny version is ten minutes and still makes Monday easier.

Quick answer

What should a Sunday reset include with ADHD?

A quick look at next week's calendar, one must-do for the week, clean clothes for Monday, and the trash out. That is the tiny reset. A normal reset adds laundry, three planned dinners and a short grocery list. Plan three dinners, not seven; fewer decisions survive the week better.

Why this order

  • Looking at the week comes first because it decides what the rest of the reset is for.
  • One must-do instead of a full plan: a single priority is something you can still hold on to by Wednesday.
  • Three dinners, then the list: shopping for planned meals is faster and wastes less than shopping for ideas.

If you get stuck halfway

If Sunday is gone and nothing happened, do the tiny version on Monday morning. The point is a reset, not a day of the week.

How long it takes

  • Tiny: about 8 min
  • Normal: about 25 min
  • Full reset: about 1.5 hr

Frequently asked questions

How long should a Sunday reset take?

As long as you have. Ten minutes for the essentials is already useful; a full reset with shopping and prep might take one to two hours.

What if I hate routines?

Treat it as a menu, not a routine. Pick the level that matches your energy that week and skip the rest without guilt.
